Reception staff gave us a warm welcome, explaining arrangements in the hotel for free tee, coffee and cake in the afternoons, for a live music evening in the bar and a free classical music concert on Sunday afternoon etc. We were not shown our room but it was easy to find. The room was a reasonable size, quite clean and had a comfortable bed. Heating was good, even when the outside temperature was sub zero. The room was pretty quiet at night. We enjoyed the live music in the bar and the cocktails were good. The recital on Sunday was excellent, a cellist and a pianist playing classical pieces. Free wine was provided in the interval. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The omelettes made to order were good. The location of the hotel is excellent. Tram, bus and subway stops are all close by so it is easy to get to any part of the city. We walked to the city centre in about 20 minutes, but we could also have taken public transport. The Schonbrunn Palace is about 6 stops on the subway. A friendly receptionist (and they were all friendly and helpful) sorted us out with a Vienna Transport pass. This was an excellent way to use public transport which, by the way, was clean, frequent and efficient. There is a lot to see in Vienna - art, history, museums, great architecture etc. We booked the big attractions on line to skip the queues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel.

Attention to details in this hotel is great. Each floor has a theme and it's decorated differently. Taking stairs and checking every floor/wallpaper, the name of the room was like visiting a gallery. Bonus was a welcome book in a room with a story of hotel explained, history, and some personal tips from the owner of the hotel for the first time Vienna visitors (coffee, restaurants..). We enjoyed the lounge area in the afternoon with a seasonal cake and tea/coffee, where the piano of the owner is placed. This hotel has soul and created with so much love and details. It's not your regular hotel. I arrived late at night, around 11 pm and wanted to get fruits. The staff brought me a basket of fruit to refresh. To most center locations we were able to walk. Our transportation to/from hotel to the airport was Uber. In the city - either a walk or very well organized public transportation. If we come back to Vienna, we will stay in the Beethoven hotel again.

Vienna is a wonderful but expensive city if you want a quality stay. This hotel exceeded expectations. It is not cheap, but it is worth looking for discounts if they are offered. You will not regret staying. Quiet place, but central. Next to the musical theater (Theater un der Wien), where we saw the opera Norma. I heard there are free music concerts in the lobby, there is a piano, but we went to the opera. Great design and cleanliness. Pet-friendly, it is so cute. Wonderful staff, explains everything, we got free tickets to the Albertina Museum. There are coffee and tea facilities in the room, bathrobes are provided. Very good breakfast, there is even a sparkling alcoholic drink if you want it. Free coffee with pastries in the lobby in the afternoon. Great bar on the first floor with drinks until late. We want to come back already.

Location is perfect. 10 minute away from Stephans Dom at the very center of the city and 2 minutes away from 3 different metro lines not to mention several tram (Strassenbahn). The hotel offers free tickets for the Secession, which is 100 m from the building, and the Albertina museum, located at a 5 minutes walking distance right in front of the Sacher Hotel. I was there for the Vienna City Marathon. The staff was very supportive and they also offered a very early breakfast from 6 am for the occasion. We also really appreciated the coffees and teas all afternoon long in the Mezzanine rooms. Also the decoration of each floor is different and very nice. I would definately recomand this hotel!

Breakfast was excellent with many options and cooked to order dishes as well as the buffet. The location is excellent, so close to the Nachtmarket where we had several good meals, and the Sucession Museum, which was exceptional. The complimentary pasteries, prosecco and Sunday afternoon concerts were very unique and special. The owner is very gracious and welcoming. She even brought us prosecco and gave me a little gift for me for my birthday. Not a corporate hotel experience in any way. Personal and unique!
